Hello, thanks for your questions!

1) In the past, we did have a character who was an iron golem, and his main restriction was that he could not pass into the stone circles that act as portals to the faerie lands. In the case of a character who has iron as part of their being, we would be happy to work with you. If it's a transformation, however, we may have to discuss changing or power-locking it in some way.

2) It would be a case-by-case basis! Answering your specific examples: the mirrors are controlled by thought and can be used without looking at them. So in the case of the cursed character, she could create a cover for it or keep it in one place face down in place at all times, while still retaining the ability to verbally communicate through it or listen in on conversations.
For the storage example, we would permit this (within reason, of course). But because the mirrors are operated by the faerie queen, anything stored may be subject to trolling tampering by the fae.
